Down’s Heart Group covers all the UK and Eire providing support and information relating to cardiac conditions associated with Down’s Syndrome.

Founded in 1988, it uses a wealth of knowledge and experience gained by parents and carers to provide services for families according to individual need.  These include a personalised Information Pack, newsletters, parent to parent contact, conferences, videos and DVD’s.  Also available is a telephone helpline and internet mailing list where families can find additional support and information and the comfort of knowing they are ‘not alone’.

The Group benefits from the knowledge of several medical experts who provide ongoing advice, as well as close links with the major cardiac units, heart groups and Down’s Syndrome organisations.  All of this places them in an ideal position to represent families and campaign for services changes where needed.
