Heart week early detection forum and Parliamentary reception

Screening & Early Detection Forum:

This event will be held at The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund at the old County Hall (by the London Eye) from 10am . The event will feature several eminent speakers with specialisms in screening and early detection. Following that we’ll have a Round Table Discussion about Think HEART featuring parents of children with heart conditions and professionals working in the field. Apart from the fantastic program we have lined up there will be plenty of opportunity for networking and finding out about the latest developments and thinking.

Children’s Heart Week Parliamentary Reception:

Following the Screening & Early Detection Forum we’ll wander over the bridge to the Houses of Parliament for the Parliamentary Reception. The event will comprise of a few short addresses by invited speakers and dignitaries and a call to action on the Think HEART campaign. The event will also be attended by parents, professionals in the field as well as MPs and Ministers from relevant departments.

Who These Events Are For

Both events are designed for interested parents or family members of children with heart conditions, policy makers and professionals working in related fields. Given the nature of these events we are unable to offer places to young children.
