A new research study aims to capture fathers’ experiences when their child is born with a congenital heart defect (CHD).

• Are you a father with a child diagnosed with CHD?
• You are invited to participate in this study.
• The research study will focus on the fathering role and the interaction between fathers and healthcare professionals around the time of their child’s birth and diagnosis.

Treatment events such as cardiac catheter and corrective surgery will also be included in this study.
