Due to the fantastic success of our 2012 and 2013 events, we are holding another spectacular Dragon Boat Challenge on Sunday 18th May 2014!
2014 will be another big year for CHF and we would love you to be a part of it; so join us in this spectacular sport, racing to the beat of the drums whilst raising awareness and vital funds for children with heart conditions and their families.
Ask your family, colleagues and friends to join you at the Dragon Boat Challenge! Rowers need to be at least 14-years-old and drummers at the front of the boat must be over 8-years-old and at least 130cm tall (4 foot 3 inches).
There will be prizes for: the best fancy dress, the most inspired fundraising idea as well as the individuals and team who raises the most funds!
The day will be geared not just to participants of the challenge itself but to the whole family, with an array of cultural performance, puppet shows, children’s entertainers and plenty of food and refreshments (including a licensed bar). Make sure you bring everyone with you for a brilliant day by the River at London’s Surrey Docks!
Teams are made up of 13 people; 12 to paddle the oars and 1 to beat the drum to keep you in time and get you to the finish line!
There are three registration options and everyone who registers will get:
Enter as an individual or with a few friends and we will put you into a Team to compete.Registration Price: £50 per person +Fundraising Target: As much as you can!
Enter a Team for your workplace or club and in addition to the above, you will also receive:
Registration Price: £1200 +Fundraising Target: As much as you can!

Once you have completed your form you can pay your registration fee via the donate buttons on this site (and we’ll link it to your booking). If you want to pay by cheque be sure to put your name and the word ‘dragon’ on the reverse of the cheque and send it to our office. If you’re a UK taxpayer remember to Gift Aid your payment! We will send reminders in April for any people who have not paid their registration fee. If you are fundraising, remember to set up your Just Giving or Virgin Money page and point it to Children’s Heart Federation.
